Laura says: My husband's cat had a litter of kittens and these were the two that we chose to keep. They are such a little joy. They are a little over a year old now but Cassie was the runt so she doesn't look much different. She will always be my little girl.

It's a photo such as this that makes me wonder if having just one cat at home is fair for her. My Ophelia was rescued as a singleton from the humane society as a 12-year-old. She's home alone during the day when I work. Would she benefit from a feline friend or not, I wonder... Comments?

PIM, go get your little angel a little devil a friend immediately, and know that she will love having a new cat around. She might hiss a bit to the noob to show some seniority, but within a few days they will get along fine. Just got a new baby cat yesterday, and the same thing is happening here now.
